Inside Sales Representative

Company: PIP Global Safety

Location: Dayton Ohio

Job Summary:

The Insides Sales Representative will assist the sales team with sales support on new and/or existing accounts, develop and maintain department relationships, create specs, create new business opportunities in sales force and maintain the sales force data. This person will also be helping manage vendor relationships and support Regional Managers for their territories. Additionally, it will include working with downstream marketing to ensure HFR Body Protection products and brand objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

Technical Sales and Customer Service Support:

• Contact accounts to gain new business.
• Establish account leads in Sales Force.
• Follow up on the contacts in Sales Force.
• Assist Inside Sales Lead to support field sales staff with growth and promotional programs, training opportunities, vendor communications, and resolution of transactional issues.
• Work close with global and regional sales managers to achieve Product Management goals and to support key accounts.

Maintain Technical Product Information:

• Web-based applications support with Sales Force and SAP.

Marketing Initiatives:

• Identify new opportunities for your territory.
• Quote products to the distributors based on their quote terms and discounts.
• Product knowledge to be trained and passed on to distribution.
• Regional Sales Manager support. This will be a team, and you are responsible for the front-end communications and quote support.
• Close partnership with supply chain and manufacturing partners to ensure proper management of end-of-life components and minimizing excess inventory at time of product retirement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with sales and customer service.
• Experience with database management particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to use Sales Force program.
• Ability to quote in SAP (whether internally developed or externally acquired) to meet sales, marketing and customer requirements.
• Team building and problem-solving skills on a global basis.
• Self-starter and effective time manager.
